Our Journey: From Inspiration to Innovation
For nearly 40 years, Bart and Judy Greenhut have been dedicated to making life better for dogs and their families. Here's our story...
1985
The Inspiration Strikes
After Bart's life-threatening bacterial infection from unsafe pet waste cleanup, we invented Dispoz-A-Scoop® - the world's most convenient and safest pooper-scooper. It keeps hands safely away from harmful bacteria.
1990s
Building Our Foundation
We established our Los Angeles facility and began our commitment to in-house production. Quality control isn't just a promise - it's personal.
2000s
Expanding Our Care
We introduced Fresh Bites® with dental enzymes and Luv'A Bones® natural small batch baked dog treats. Dogs love them, and they do dogs good!
2010s
Innovation Continues
VitaGravy® revolutionized dog supplements - pharmaceutical-grade vitamins and minerals in a delicious peanut butter coating that dogs actually beg for.
Today 2026
Vita-GREAT!
Nearly 40 years later, we're still family-owned, still making everything in Los Angeles, and still refusing to compromise our ideals for dollars.
